Fear not, for I bring you four foolproof strategies that promise to revolutionize your makeup routine in one fell swoop.

1. Sculpt Your Eyebrows

The transformative power of well-defined eyebrows cannot be overstated. Your brows serve as the frame for your eyes, accentuating their depth and allure.

Discoloration around the eyes is a common concern for many of us. To make your eyes truly stand out, it’s essential to neutralize any unwanted undertones and create a flawless canvas for your makeup masterpiece. Remember, light shades emphasize features, while dark shades create depth. This fundamental principle is key to unlocking your desired makeup look.

Begin by applying concealer under your eyes and, if your eyelids aren’t oily, cover them in concealer or primer as well. Ensure the concealer reaches right up to your lash line to eliminate any redness. For oily lids or persistent discoloration, consider using an eye primer a shade or two lighter than your skin tone. Focus on the lid area and extend into the crease to bring forward this part of your eye. Light brings forth, while dark recedes.

3. Master the Art of Eye Shadow for Deep-Set Eyes

In my latest tutorial, I utilized the Jane Iredale Eye Shadow Palette in Storm Chaser to craft a radiant, luminous look. Begin by sweeping the lightest shade across your lid, followed by the next darkest shade to the outer edge of your eye. This technique adds dimension and structure to your eye area. Avoid applying a darker shade to the crease, as deep-set eyes naturally possess a prominent crease and require no additional depth

Using Jane Iredale Smoky Quartz Mystikol Powdered Eyeliner delicately place product evenly between your lashes to accentuate the top eye line. Employ a slanted brush for a soft, blended application. 

Subsequently, apply the medium dark shade beneath your eye to enhance the area, but be subtle to avoid resembling an owl (never a good idea). Intensify the outer edge and liner area with the darkest shade to amplify depth, adjusting the intensity to your preference. Remember, light brings forth, while dark recedes.

4. Lash Out with Mascara

Finalize your stunning look by curling your lashes and generously coating the top lashes with mascara to achieve fullness and definition. Should you choose to enhance your lower lashes, exercise caution to prevent smudging and steer clear of an overly pronounced look reminiscent of Tammy Faye Baker’s iconic style.
