This week on The Beauty Shaman, I interview registered compounding pharmacist, nutritionist, researcher, educator, and cosmetic chemist Ben Fuchs creator of Truth Treatments. In a previous video, I reviewed his skin care line and went into detail on why I use it and recommend it to you. Because of the positive response to the video, I decided to have Ben go into greater depth about why he created the line, how it’s bubble-bursting for the skin care industry, and why it’s the future of skin care. In this blog post, I explain each product, how to use it, and why I recommend it.
Omega 6 Healing Cream
Omega 6 Healing Cream (click here to shop) regenerates your skin’s own healing abilities and speeds recovery from severe dryness and skin damage. Designed to heal surgical wounds and burns, this cream is a rich hydrator and restores skin tissue using 100% active and functional ingredients. Premium lipophilic Vitamin C and Omega 6 fats work synergistically to soften and improve skin elasticity, balance and function. Refines texture, helps smooth scars, lines and wrinkles. I use this cream every week on one of the on-camera talent at Gaia TV where I operate as Makeup Department Head. Previously, when he would arrive in the makeup room with redness around his mouth, I would use Makeup Forever Green Primer and RCMA full coverage foundation to hide the redness with some success. Now, I apply the Omega 6 cream, let it soak into his skin, and then use regular foundation and the irritation is gone.
Truth Serum (click here to shop) comes in a dropper form, and by using one to two drops per application; it penetrates into the dermis to rapidly heal dry, chafed, and irritated skin. Anti-inflammatory plant extracts, nutrients and premium lipophilic Vitamin C repair damage, fade discoloration, improve skin firmness and tone. My favorite aspect about this product is not just that it’s the best anti-aging serum I’ve ever used, but also that I can use it around my eyes in place of an eye cream! In Ben Fuchs opinion, eye creams were created to make money for the skin care industry, not because the skin around your eyes needs anything different from the rest of your face or body. This makes me do a happy dance and reduces my total cost of products, while making my under eye area smoother than any eye cream I’ve ever used.
Truth Balm (Click here to shop) moisturizes, smoothes and repairs signs of aging. Even the most damaged and sensitive skin will show visible change. Restore and revive skin using 100% active and functional
ingredients with the Transdermal Delivery Matrix (TDM). It allows premium, lipophilic Vitamin C to effectively penetrate and work to reverse skin damage and discoloration. Truth Balm softens lines and wrinkles, promotes healthy tissue and collagen production, and restores a firmer, more radiant complexion. My biggest surprise with this product, as with the others, is the small amount I need to moisturize my face and neck. I use about half the normal amount, and get greater results in my skins hydration, even in winter.
Retinol Gel (Click here to shop) is an intensive, anti-aging and anti-blemish skin refiner that corrects damage. With proper use, you’ll see a difference in skin tone and texture within days. Retinoids help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and scars, and the regenerating 5% Retinol Gel’s potent blend of healing Vitamin C and exfoliating Vitamin A remove dead and dulling skin cells to fade discoloration, smooth lines and refine scars. With continued use, skin will look tighter, clearer and brighter, breakouts will dissipate and blackheads will dissolve. In my skin care routine, every month I get facials from my aesthetician, and every week I use Retinol Gel. As I look in the mirror, I feel I have taken ten years off my face in the past year and a half of doing this. In my opinion, it has been a worthwhile investment.
I hope this has been helpful for you to understand how Truth Treatments works, why you should use it, and why I am so unabashed in my recommendation of it to all my clients. Feel free to comment or ask questions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
